An industrious and virtuous agricultural reality, "Il Giardino del Bergamotto" [“The Garden of Bergamot”], which has made this citrus the sole reason for a multifaceted and excellent production since 1943.

In the Reggio area, where 90% of the world's production of bergamot essential oil is concentrated, the Attinà family works with dedication and passion.

The Bergamot

A mysterious fruit, like its ability to generate delicious jams from a bitter pulp 

Similar to an orange in shape but yellow like a lemon in colour and as sour as grapefruit in flavour, it is the fruit of good mood par excellence. Renowned for its pronounced healing properties: its essential oil in aromatherapy is used to treat depressive states and insomnia, effective also against burns and wounds where it acts as a healing agent; diluted in water or honey, it is recommended to curb loss of appetite.

Un frutto misterioso come la sua capacità di generare, da una polpa amara, deliziose marmellata

Simile all'arancia nella forma ma giallo come un limone nel colore e aspro come il pompelmo nel sapore, è il frutto del buon umore per eccellenza. Rinomato per le spiccate proprietà curative: il suo olio essenziale in aromaterapia viene usato per trattare gli stati depressivi e l'insonnia, efficace anche contro ustioni e ferite su cui agisce come cicatrizzante diluito in acqua o miele, è consigliato per arginare l'inappetenza.
